On Thursday, Dec. 18, the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office congratulated Deputy Ray Templeton on his retirement.
Templeton began his career with the Sheriff’s Office on December 1, 2015, in the Judicial Services Division. Prior to 2015, Templeton served 21 years with the United States Air Force as Security Police, followed by 18 years with the Nashville Airport Police.
“We are grateful for his years of service, leadership, and the experience he brought to our agency,” the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post. “Please join us in wishing Deputy Templeton a happy, healthy, and well-deserved retirement. Thank you for answering the call to serve—your legacy will not be forgotten.”
