Betty D. Winfree, of Estill Springs, passed this life on Saturday, July 11th, 2026 at her home at the age of 79. Ms. Winfree was born in Gainsboro, Tennessee to the late Charles and Edna Carlisle Dudney. During her life, she worked as a Nurse’s Aide at the VA in Murfreesboro. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Winfree was preceded in death by three sisters, Nita Roland, Ann Kiser, and Bobby Kennedy; and her daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Winfree. She is survived by her daughter, Wendy (Jeff) Mathis; her son, Tony Winfree; two sisters, Charlene (Cliff) Owens and Pat Dudney; and three grandchildren, Emily (Judd) Mathis, Jake (Carley) Mathis, and Garret Mathis. Per Betty’s wishes, no services are planned at this time.
