Early voting for the Aug. 6 State and Federal Primary, along with applicable county general elections, begins Friday, July 17, giving registered voters in Coffee County the opportunity to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day.
Any registered and eligible Coffee County voter may vote during the early voting period, which runs through Saturday, Aug. 1. Unlike on Election Day, voters may cast their ballot at either early voting location in the county, regardless of their assigned precinct.
Voters will be selecting candidates in party primaries for offices including Governor, U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, Tennessee Senate, Tennessee House of Representatives, and State Executive Committees. Depending on where they live, voters may also have county races or judicial races on their ballot.
Early voting locations are:
- Coffee County Administrative Plaza
- 1329 McArthur Street, Suite 6, Manchester
- Monday through Friday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to noon
- C.D. Stamps Community Center
- 810 South Jackson Street, Tullahoma
- Monday through Friday: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 9 a.m. to noon
To vote in person, voters must present a valid Tennessee or federal government-issued photo ID. Most voters do not need to vote at their assigned precinct during early voting and may choose whichever early voting location is most convenient.
Election officials encourage voters to take advantage of the early voting period to avoid longer lines on Election Day and to ensure their voices are heard in this year’s elections. Those looking for sample ballots or additional election information can contact the Coffee County Election Commission or visit the county’s election website.
