The Social Security Administration (SSA) says that their website, www.ssa.gov, is the best way to get help. If you cannot use the website, call the National 800 Number. The SSA can often help by phone and save you a trip to an office.
You can call SSA at 1-800-772-1213 between 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. local time, Monday through Friday. Wait times to speak to a representative are typically shorter in the morning, later in the week, and later in the month. This is the same number to call to make an appointment at your local SSA office.
Walk-ins will be accepted at the Kings Lane location, but those individuals with appointments will be seen before walk-in individuals. When you enter the SSA Tullahoma Office, a security guard will greet you, ask you a few questions and show you how to sign in on a touch -screen device.
The Social Security office in Tullahoma is located at 717 Kings Lane. They are open Monday-Friday from 9AM-4PM.
