Jeffrey Lewis Smith was born on July 8, 1971, in Washington, D.C., to his late parents, Luke Brown Smith Sr. and Ella Louise Reed Smith. He passed away on July 18, 2026.
Jeffrey spent many of his early years in Washington, D.C., before his family moved to Tennessee, where he resided for the remainder of his life.He is survived by his siblings, Jerry Smith (Phyllis), Luke Smith “Bubba,” Patrick Smith (Jordan), Shawn Smith, and Hannah Gates (Stuart), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family members. Jeffrey will be dearly loved, forever remembered, and deeply missed by all who knew him. Services will be announced at a later date.
