The Coffee County Lannom Memorial Public Library would like to thank our community for making this year’s Summer Reading Program a tremendous success!
Over five weeks of dinosaur-themed fun, nearly 900 readers of all ages logged an incredible 690,180 minutes of reading—surpassing our community goal of 600,000 minutes and last year’s total of just over 502,000 minutes. We also welcomed more than 2,600 attendees to 31 free programs throughout the summer.
While our Summer Reading Program has officially concluded and all prize winners have been notified, children can continue earning beads for their reading necklaces by participating in our Read for the Bead challenge through the end of July.
Thank you to everyone who read, attended programs, volunteered, and supported the library. Your enthusiasm for reading continues to make our community stronger, one book at a time.
