On Thursday, Jan. 29, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office issued a press release indicating that an investigation had been launched into Cars Ink. in Fayetteville.

Beginning in January 2026, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and Fayetteville Police Department began receiving reports from customers of Cars Ink., located in Fayetteville, Tennessee, regarding issues with receipt of vehicle titles. There may be more victims in and around Fayetteville/Lincoln County regarding vehicles, equipment, and livestock. Law enforcement is investigating reports as ongoing investigation in conjunction with law enforcement in multiple jurisdictions. The public is encouraged to reach out to local law enforcement with additional reports and/or information regarding Cars Ink.
