Following the appointment of Adam Floied as Chief of Police, the Manchester Police Department (MPD) has seen several promotions.
Most recently, Floied has promoted Ben Sneed and Morgan Myers.
Sneed was promoted to Administrative Captain in February. Sneed joined the MPD in 2018. The same year, he was selected as the Cumberland Region Officer of the Year. In 2019, Sneed was promoted to Criminal Investigator.
Myers was promoted about a month later to fill the vacant Criminal Investigator position.
“Investigator Myers is an 8-year patrol veteran whose dedication, professionalism, and strong work ethic have made a lasting impact on our department and community. Throughout his service, he has consistently demonstrated exceptional investigative skills, a commitment to victim advocacy, and a passion for thorough, detail-driven police work,” the MPD said in a Facebook post.
Floied was named Chief of Police in January after the retirement of former Chief Bill Sipe. Floied named Dale Robertson as his Assistant Chief in February.
