On Wednesday morning, two cars collided on West Lincoln Street in Tullahoma in front of the Food Lion.
According to Lyle Russell, the City of Tullahoma’s Community Engagement Officer, the accident occurred while one car was pulling out of the Food Lion parking lot. The driver’s view was obstructed by a third car that was stopped in the turn lane. As a result, the driver of the first car did not see a car traveling west down West Lincoln Street and pulled into oncoming traffic.
The second car collided into the first car’s passenger side. The impact caused the first car to roll onto its roof.
According to Russell and Tullahoma Chief of Police Chase Sons all involved are safe. Sons said the crash resulted in “minor injuries if any.” Russell said the city is grateful that those involved are okay.
