Partners for Healing is very pleased to announce Tori Murphree as the organization’s new Executive Director. A Tullahoma resident, Ms. Murphree is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over a decade of experience. Tori brings a well-rounded set of skills to the program. Her background includes clinical service, program management, staff supervision, community partnership development, and grant administration. She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Science from Lee University as well as Tennessee LCSW Licensure.
Ms. Murphree has demonstrated her passion for the clinic and her commitment to our community over the past two years in her role as a Partners for Healing therapist. “We are excited to see where Tori leads the team,” stated Erica Chessor, Board President. “Her background and extensive working knowledge of the organization made her the perfect choice.” As Executive Director, Ms. Murphree is responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations, fundraising, programming, and public relations. In addition, she will continue in her role as a clinic therapist.
Partners for Healing is a free primary care clinic that offers both medical and mental health services for the working uninsured– including those who are self-employed, in transition between jobs, waiting for disability or are full-time college students. Partners has clinics located at 109 W. Blackwell Street in Tullahoma and 1914 McArthur St. in Manchester. Services are available to those who live and/or work in Coffee, Franklin and Moore Counties.
