The Sportsmen and Businessmen’s Charitable Organization (SBCO) donated $7,000 to Tullahoma City Schools (TCS) at the May Board of Education meeting.

At the May Board of Education meeting, Tullahoma City Schools received a $7,000 donation from the Sportsmen and Businessmen’s Charitable Organization (SBCO) to support the district’s Coordinated School Health Department.
These funds will be utilized to help students and families in multiple ways. The TCS Coordinated School Health Department aids students and families with medical care, transportation, rent, food, clothing, shoes, school supplies, gas money for travel to service appointments, and even a bicycle helmet, enabling a student to safely
ride their bicycle to school.
“As Coordinated School Health Director, I have had the pleasure of working with SBCO since 2014 on ways that directly serve our Tullahoma City Schools Community,” said Gina Bumbalough. “SBCO serves not only those in need but also enhances education through mini-grants and scholarships for TCS students. In addition to these generous grants, they have financially supported students, families, and staff in times of need. We are blessed to have them as community partners who are always ready to help.”
Since 1984, the Sportsmen and Businessmen’s Charitable Organization has served the Coffee County community through various philanthropic efforts totaling more than $2.1 million. Those efforts include providing financial assistance to those in need with expenses for health care, medical care, dental care, vision care, food,
education, transportation, shelter, and other essential needs. Additionally, they have successfully implemented several programs to support the children in our community.
