Sharon Ann Tiesen of Normandy, Tennessee passed from this life very unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at her residence in Normandy. A native of Oakland, California, she is the daughter of Jack Blessing of Caldwell, Idaho and the late Dorothy Mazza Tiesen. Along with her mother, she is preceded in death by one brother, Jackie Blessing Jr.
Ther family has requested cremation, and A Celebration Life service will be planned for a later date.
Sharon was a high school graduate and worked alongside her husband in their business at Tiesen Electric. She was a great animal lover and enjoyed shopping, especially at Hobby Lobby. Most likely because she enjoyed crafts and decorating. Sharon was an elaborate storyteller; and she was always smiling and loved laughter. She was a big Michael Jackson fan and enjoyed his singing and dancing. She was a very good baker and enjoyed making treats for her family. One of her biggest enjoyments was traveling. When her health allowed it, she loved traveling to the Caribbean and the Dominican Republic. Her family wanted those who knew her to know, “God gives his toughest battles to his toughest soldiers. Sharon was a fighter and very strong and determined. She will be forever missed by her friends and family.
Her survivors include her husband of 38 years, William “Bruce” Tiesen of Tullahoma, Tennessee, children, Melissa (Chad) Garrett of Estill Springs, Tennessee, Jaime (Larry) Hefley of Scottsboro, Alabama, sister, Linda (Dick) McIntyre of Caldwell, Idaho, three grandchildren, William Benedict, Lylah Bell and Kylah Bell, two nieces, Becky (Kevin) Fish of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Lisa (Jeff) Baswell of Petaluma, California. Sharon is also survived by many cousins and friends.
