The Fly Arts Center celebrated the completion of its renovation with a ribbon cutting hosted by the Shelbyville-Bedford County Chamber of Commerce.
The renovation began in February. It focused on improving the look of the 100-year-old building. The Fly also took the time to revamp its programs “strengthening both adult and youth theater, enhancing the arts and museum offerings, and expanding the ways they serve the community,” according to the Chamber.
“The Fly Arts Center continues to enrich our community by providing a vibrant platform for the arts—because a growing community deserves a strong arts program, and The Fly certainly fills that role,” the Chamber said in a Facebook post.
The Chamber’s mission is supporting members, promoting growth, and enriching lives.
