On Tuesday, May 19, Tennessee House Republicans announced on X that Nashville will host Super Bowl LXIV in 2030.
The Super Bowl is projected to bring over 120,000 visitors, over 10,000 support roles, and over $1.25 billion to Nashville.
“From new jobs to packed hotels and more than $1.25+ BILLION in tourism revenue and global exposure for TN, hosting one of the world’s biggest sporting events will be MASSIVE for the TN economy. Plus we get to showcase everything that makes Tennessee special,” Tennessee House Republicans said in its post on X.
Representative Rush Bricken, who serves on the Tennessee House of Representatives, forwarded the announcement to Peterson Media Group. Bricken also forwarded information on the projected economic impact of four major events that could be held at Nissan Stadium. In 2022, the Tennessee General Assembly approved $500,000 in bonds to support the construction of the stadium.

Nissan Stadium quick facts:
- The deal allowed Metro Nashville to regain control of 66 acres of land for development
- $840 million for the new stadium and any construction overruns will come from the
Titans, NFL, and PSL sales. - $500 million came from the one-time state contribution.
- The remaining $760 million came from revenue bonds issued by the Metro Sports
Authority to be repaid through the revenue streams described above, all of which, per
state statute, can only be used for this project or other stadium-related costs. - The new stadium will also feature other world-class, iconic events to take place right in
our backyard, such as CMA Fest, concerts, and potentially major sporting events like the Super Bowl, NCAA Playoff Games, WrestleMania and more.
Super Bowl economic impact:
Louisiana released a study that found the Super Bowl held in New Orleans in 2025 generated $1.25 billion in economic activity statewide
For the event, Louisiana reported the following numbers:
- $1.25 billion total statewide economic impact
- 9,787 local jobs supported statewide
- $658 million in total spending by visitors and vendors
- $395 million in wages generated for Louisiana workers
- $82.7 million in state and local tax revenue
- 115,000 total attendees, including 100,000 from out of state, representing 45 U.S. states
CFP Championship:
- In 2026, the City of Miami reported that it anticipated that “the event alone could bring
in more than $264 million (in economic impacts)” to the state.
Final Four Impact:
- In 2022, Louisiana released a study regarding the economic impact of the Final Four held in New Orleans:
- The events injected $106.3 million in new direct spending into the Louisiana
economy. - Estimated that the event led to $203.8 million in new Louisiana output and $62.4 million in new Louisiana earnings.
- When accounting for both the direct and indirect impact, $4.8 million in new Louisiana sales and excise taxes can be attributed to the Final Four.
- The events injected $106.3 million in new direct spending into the Louisiana
WrestleMania Impact:
- In 2025, Las Vegas hosted WrestleMania which touted the following numbers in their
official release:- $322.2 million in total economic output
- $122.6 million in salaries and wages paid
- 2,635 local jobs supported
- $17.3 million in fiscal impact from taxes paid by the organization and taxes on
visitor spending - 90.2% of attendees were non-local and 22% were international
- 85.4% of attendees traveled to Las Vegas specifically for WrestleMania 41
If all events are held at the new stadium, the total could exceed $2 billion in statewide economic impact.
