The deadline for Coffee County residents to file petitions to run in the August general election is noon on Tuesday, March 10. This article contains a list of those who have picked up petitions so far.
Please note that not all of the people listed have filed their petition to run but have picked up a petition to obtain signatures. This list is based on information provided by Election Commission Chairman Andy Farrar on Monday, Feb. 23.

The voter registration deadline for the local primary election is Monday, Apr. 6. The voter registration deadline for the August 6 local general, state and US Primary is Tuesday, July. 7.
