Election Commission Administrator Andy Farrar has released a list of Coffee County residents who have picked up petitions to qualify to run for office. Petition pick up began on Monday, Dec. 22.
The candidates have been compiled into a list below with their political party and the office for which they are running. Remember that all of the following people have picked up petitions, but not all have officially filed to run for office. Candidates who have filed have been marked. Candidates must qualify by Feb. 19.
