William Kyle Floyd, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Sunday, July 12th, 2026 at his home at the age of 46. Kyle was born in Nashville to David and Lori Ramsey Floyd who survive. He was currently working in construction for Patriot Construction. Kyle was one of a kind. A hippie to his core, a music lover, a hard worker, a grill master, and someone who could always make you laugh. He loved his music, from the Grateful Dead to Billy Strings, and had a way of making life feel a little more laid back and a lot more fun. Kyle was not perfect, as nobody is. He had a past, he made choices he wasn’t proud of and carried a lot of grief from those seasons of his life. But he always had a desire to grow, to do better, to seek God, and to become the person he wanted to be. One thing that could never be questioned was his love for his family. He was fiercely loyal, overprotective and always had his family’s back. He loved his nieces and nephew so deeply and they loved their Uncle Kyle right back. Life and people are complicated, but a person’s struggles don’t erase the love they gave, the memories made, and the impact they have on the people around them. Kyle was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Floyd; and Lloyd and Janie Ramsey. He is survived by his parents, David and Lori Floyd; two sisters, Amanda (Dustin) Hazlett and Mallory (Scotty) Bailey; his grandfather, Harold (Barbara) Floyd; and his beloved nieces and nephew, Remi, Lennon, Sawyer, and Charlotte. Kyle’s family chooses to remember him for who he was at his core. His classic Beavis laugh, his love for music and sharing music, his big heart, his loyalty, and the love he gave so freely. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, Kyle’s family asks that donations be made in his memory to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville.
